As former students of the “European and International Business Law” programme, we are first of all grateful to the lecturers of the programme that made our studies both challenging and yet very rewarding. Also special thanks should be given to fellow students and administrative staff of the university. The extensive theoretical and practical knowledge that we have gained during studies in this programme would facilitate our future careers in legal area.
The programme offers the unique opportunity to obtain master in law diplomas from two universities at the same time, namely, Mykolas Romeris university and Savoie Mont Blanc university. The studies are half a year longer than most of the other master in law studies, but it is definitely worthwhile.
Firstly, the programme covers the main areas of contemporary business law, including corporate law, competition law, economic approach to law, transport law, contract law, etc. with the special emphasis on international element. Therefore, it indeed matches the title of the programme and allows getting a specialisation in this field of law.
Secondly, the subjects are well prepared and presented by top-notch legal scholars and practitioners. The study environment allows you to gain in-depth knowledge in every subject you study. Universities have good libraries and varied databases that greatly facilitate master research.
Thirdly, we in particularly liked the opportunity to listen to the visiting lecturers. It allowed us to get a good understanding of comparative aspect of European and international legal regulations. This practice should be sustained and encouraged.
In conclusion, the “European and International Business Law” programme is definitely recommended for those who have ambitions becoming future experts in the field of business law.
