Annotation: The aim of the course on European and International Company Law is to enable to gain the business law knowledge on issues of incorporation, management and ending of companies which act in international and European business environment, as well as to acquire skills to apply the knowledge gained in specific legal situations related to incorporation, management and ending of companies, to identify the legal problems emerging in this field and to provide the effective solutions to them. Studies of this course give students a possibility to form scientific views, to understand the importance of improving company legislation for implementation of economic and social reforms, as well as peculiarities of the main corporate law issues in the European and international context. The teaching of European and International Company Law is based on comparative method, theoretical problems are presented in relation to practical application of legal norms. During seminars and practical sessions, the gaps and contradictions in law, real-life situations and case law are analysed.
